CREATIVE SUBMISSION TYPES ACCEPTED
Thank you for your interest in submitting to Details Magazine! We welcome submissions from freelance writers, photographers, videographers, and other creatives. We are looking for creative, unpublished, first-person, non-fiction material that is for young women or about young women. We accept content for the topics listed below. Diversity of subjects that reflect all age groups and a variety of creative styles are invited.

EDITOR’S TIP FOR SUBMITTING
“Be yourself! You have so much to offer this generation and this audience of strong young women. Let me hear your voice and help me see something in a new perspective. Specifics and explanations are appreciated. Most importantly, ask yourself, is this a piece (or concept) that a young woman would find guidance or inspiration from? Is this something she might benefit from? I cannot wait to read your pieces, see your art, and embrace any other creative medium you are passionate about!”
HOW TO SUBMIT

TIP: We recommend you browse our website and previous content to get an idea of our voice, values, and audience. Details Magazine wants to empower, inspire, guide, and educate young women. We love to speak from a personal perspective and big sister-type tone.

TO SUBMIT JOURNALISM
Articles should be 500 to 1000 words in length with a title (and subtitle, if applicable). Details Magazine reserves the right to edit articles for length and content. This is a volunteer position. Submissions are not guaranteed publication however we will do our best to give you feedback whether or not your submission is chosen to be published.
Details Magazine does not publish fiction and will not be able to respond to such submissions.

TO SUBMIT PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography can be completed via photoshoot or by single shot. We recommend sending a photoshoot/series of photos, please send at least 5 photos (the more the better), however we do accept solo shots. Please send all work at 300dpi so that we may view it at an optimum resolution.

TO SUBMIT VIDEOGRAPHY
Videography should be no longer than 15 seconds. All videos should be HD quality, landscape or portrait with a resolution of at least 1920 x 1080 (16:9, minimum 1080p) or 1080 x 1920 (9:16, minimum 1080p).
